Does Suse 9.3 have hotplug and udev? I find that combination makes life
MUCH easier.
I've got a PCMCIA card with a rt2500 chipset and it works well with
hotplug.
Warning: Shameless plug follows! ;-)
If you want to you could try out the new version of my distro
(www.jedolinux.com) - it has support for that particular wifi chipset
out-of-the-box, so it should just work.
I haven't got the ISO on citylink's ftp server yet, but it should be
soon.
