Since Postfix is a decent MTA (as opposed to, say, Exchange) it'll  
send a 4xx code, probably 451 as that seems to be the 'in' code these  
days. 4xx means "I can't deal with this now, come back later", and a  
real MTA (ie, not a spambot) will wait x minutes and try again. If it  
sends a 5xx code you're in trouble...
