doesn't matter, they advertize their own version as being under the gpl,
that means anybody downloading it has a right to get their source.

as long as the only change they make is to add that popup, it may be
harmless (who would want that popup anyways) and given that they only
charge $20 for support, i doubt they are really putting much work into
making changes to their version.
