[wellylug] mounting the same directory to multiple locations

Hi All

I have a webserver with some customer sites on it. Within each virtual hosts 
document root I need 1 sub directory containing the same common files. I 
could copy the directory to each document root but it makes updating these 
common files a pain. The subdirectories need to be underneath the document 
roots or the php scripts I use break (I dont want to relax the php security 
settings) so using an Alias doesnt work. I have tried linking the 
directories but Apache doesnt like it. So I am mounting one directory to 
multiple locations using mount --bind. It works fine but is there a better 
way?
