[wellylug] mailx - From address

The file /etc/email-addresses can be used to generate a From: address
for each user (so that the From address will not be the default of the
user at host).
You can have exim4 rewrite email addresses by adding something like the
following two lines after the begin rewrite:
begin rewrite
kayon at togaware.com Kayon.Toga at togaware.com s
kayon Kayon.Toga at togaware.com F
Hope this helps

Alas, no, that file contains something like 'host.homenetwork' and the
address being inserted is my old @paradise.net.nz address, which
incidentally has a different username to my shell account username.
Something somewhere knows this (I suspect exim) but I haven't been able
to
find any traces of this yet (even with grep -r).
