I've noticed that when I have both mozilla-mplayer (mplayer +
mplayerplug-in) and flashplugin-nonfree installed some situations will
cause firefox 1.0 to crash & exit. This usually happens if I go to the
TVNZ site www.nzoom.com and try play a news clip video using the
flashplayer option. I wasn't too alarmed by this since I'm using
Debian unstable and plugins from unofficial apt sources but I noticed
my Debian Gnome desktop came with another browser called Epiphany
(Gnome Mozilla based) so I gave it a try and found the two plugins
played nicely together and didn't cause any browser crashes. Epiphany
is also a bit faster than Firefox on my system and has some nice
features.
