I think it really depends on how their agreement re. bandwidth costs is
worded - I mean, i didnt sign up for the service on the basis that
'traffic to and from sites we have a reciprocal peering arrangement with
will be charged at 1/10 cost' - i signed up for 'national traffic is
charged at 1/10 cost' - And I can't see how they can reasonably claim
there aren't more efficient routes to ftp.citylink.co.nz available to
them than through los angeles.
