I'm not certain I agree that this discussion isn't relevant (although I'm open 
to hearing discussion).  In addition to being about GNU/LInux, our group is 
also about Wellington, and I'd say as well about free software, and in some 
ways, the larger issues of intellectual freedom, which free software (GPL) is 
definitely about, although open source (OSS) might not be definitely about.

So, as a GNU/Linux user in Wellington, I'd like to hear about my best options 
for accessing GNU/Linux resources from Wellington.  I'd also like to hear 
about ISPs (if any stand out) that allow or even foster free exchange of 
information.

GNU/Linux is free beer to some folks, but it's also a philosophical and 
societal movement, and that's what I'm here for.  I haven't written any 
software yet, but I am in the planning stages, and when I do, it's going to 
be GPL.

GPL itself isn't about money - but it is about access.
