You know, as usual, there is no simple solution. What I use is a bunch of at 
least 20 various packages / libs. So there is no "application" as such like 
one nice soft that does it all. 
A bit of scripts, a bit of word processing .... I hardly used any GUI, apart 
from Kino, and that is about it.
