[wellylug] Mandrake 10.2

Hi Jamie,

I have a copy of Mandrake 10.1, plus a local mirror of the updates, contrib
and plf. I have also tried using the thac RPM's available (unofficial) that
provide KDE 3.3.2. My comments are, KDE 3.0.0 is a bit unstable, but
MD10.1 does not install that by default it uses KDE 3.2.3 I think. I am able
to give you a copy by transferring them using a portable USB2 HDD. (as they
are quite a few GB's , contrib is 4GB by itself)

An upgrade from Mandrake 9.1 to 10.1 was fairly smooth on one computer I did,
on another, required some tweaking before it would boot and has some strange
stuttering effect when playing mp3's and doing other tasks at the same time
(I think this might be due to the IO scheduler differences in the kernel, or
to do with my X configuration)

Cheers
Glen
