not me.

I wouldn't be rude, but I sure wouldn't be going up to them and giving
them a big hug & simile.

I don't trust them - All of sudden Microsoft shows an interest in open
source, Jamie just showed us link to Microsoft's 'Open Source' server -
full of software THEY consider 'viral'!

Why are they doing this? I somewhat doubt they have 'seen the errors of
their ways' and value relationships with Linux users.

Maybe they want to try and convert us? Trust me, if Microsoft started
interfering with my personal life, it would only make me hate them
more.. and I doubt I'm the only one.

It also wasn't just some Microsoft guys interested in what opensource
has to offer - at least one of them was a PR - a person specilised in
mind games, nasty thinking, etc. Kind of like a sterotypical lawyer.

Did anyone ask them about the XML patent they are trying to push though
NZ court? DESPITE it getting THROWN OUT OF THE U.S.!!

But don't worry - since they want to be our friends now, maybe if we ask
them they'll let use use it.

forgive me for being paranoid, but it's just how I feel - something's
not right. Does anyone else feel disturbed about this??

It would be interesting to post info about this to the slashdot
editors... I've read other things where microsoft is visting LUGS -
which makes it seem like a company plan. It would be interesting, as
other lugs may start to mention this occuring to them...

Perhaps for public reasons - "look everyone - we're friends with Linux
users. We don't hate competition *cough* *cough*."

Or maybe they've come to try and create tensions in the lug - spilt it
into groups? I wouldn't put it past them.
