[wellylug] Source for network games

A friend has asked me if I can suggest linux-based network games that he
can play with his 9-year-old son. I'm not a gamer, but I guess there are
probably some lurking on this list. Friend is relatively new to linux
desktop, but works as a unix administrator. Using RHEL. Can anybody
offer any suggestions? Need to be suitable for the age-group of course!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
