just about all the hardware should just work with any distro with no
problems, except the following 3:


Wireless Networking
----
Not all wifi chipsets are supported in linux. If you can find out what
chipset the onboard card is, you can look for drivers for it.

Dialup Modem
---
Most likely to be a winmodem. If it's a lucent, the linux support is
pretty good (but only binary drivers). If it's a conexant, your pretty
screwed unless you buy a driver. Or you could buy a proper modem for
around the same price. Again, you need to find the modem chipset.

Video hardware acceleration
---
This is trickly. I'm not sure about the video hardware support for the
sis chipset it has. The problem is, if the video card only has the
standard vesa driver support, 2d applications will work fine, but
anything like DVD playback or any 3d application will basicly suck. The
framerate will be really slow and jerky.
