I fall into it too - and I can't change the Gmail settings to get them
to automatically remove addresses.

In some clients you can change your default reply settings so it
either doesn't include the

or it formats it differently, and doesn't include the email address.

Otherwise you can just delete the text of the email, like I did with
your address above.

Unfortunately if your client doesn't do it automatically you just have
to remember, and that's where we run into problems.
