I use 64bit Mandrake 10.0 on my main desktop box.

I cannot agree with your description of it as being "full of bugs and
basically unusable".

It has been stable and reliable right from the first moment I started to
install it.

That said, I am now unsure what to expect out of what used to be known
as "Mandrakesoft", and am currently exploring alternative distros for
the next time I upgrade that box.
