[wellylug] LinkSYS BEFW11S4 V2 - not linux related

Hey, I have been given one of these routers.. and I was wondering if 
anyone in the WellyLUG has one of these too?

I have been given it becuase the previous owner did some nasty things to 
it, but I managed to get it going with the help of a friend, (They blew up 
the powersupply)...

Anyway..

Everything works on this device *apart* from the Wireless portion..
It does all it's diag's when it's powered on, I have upgraded the firmware 
in this device, and still nothing... no matter what the Wireless option is 
on, it still does not generate a wireless link.....

In the menu options, under Advanced, then Wireless I dont see a a Firmware 
version and I was wondering if that was normal..

There is an option there for it to be there, but it's like its not reading 
something correctly.

I have opened up the box, figguring that hey, it doesnt work anyway so 
whats the point of breaking the waranty seal, and the Wireless cards 
"appears" to be getting power, as the surface mount LED is on...  It 
blinks when you power it up, then stays up...

I have checked the connections, and everything appears to be ok...

I have reset it all to factory defaults, and tried everything else, and 
was wondering if anyone could give some advise on this ...

it's annoying that it does not work, but I can live with it.....

But does anyone know if there is a place that will look at the card, or 
could fix the card in some way.....????
