Just a quick FYI. With increasing hardware capability and several 
performance improvements in Java there are now lots of excellent games 
coming out that run on any platform (including Linux).

Sun Microsystems has put together a taster video of some of the Java 
games that are available. (NB: This is a 20MB download)

I didn't realise that there is quite so much stuff out there.

Personally I'm playing www.puzzlepirates.com at the moment (Still in 
development (though already has tens of thousands of suscribers) and 
very addictive!)
