hi all,
those of you on the NZOSS list, may have read this:
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/index.cfm?c_id=5&ObjectID=10115247
Basicly, the NZ Patent system has accepted a patent from Microsoft, for
the process of using appliations to read and write xml files.
A quick search in google, would have quickly revealed, that fact that
this is obviously prior art (openoffice, is just one of many) and a
common, open standard on the internet.
