The question is, what are you doing? Anything that involves shifting a
lot of large numbers or large chunks of memory around will benefit.
Most 'home-use' apps - web, email, word processing, spreadsheet work -
will have no benefit, and possibly a slow down as more memory has to be
moved around to get the computation done. If you do video/audio/3d work
that requires a lot of memory and/or large number computations you'll
see a boost if you use 64bit optimised applications.
