[wellylug] making a new device permanent

Hi,

For one reason or another, due to fooling around with vtun, I need to
create a new device... ok, straight forward enough...

"...If the device /dev/net/tun is (still) missing, create it
with mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200.."

Right I do that. And magically the device is created. Yay!

So, I reboot the machine, and guess what? - device is gone - and I need
to recreate it... bugger.

Any ideas on how to apply some permanence to my tun device???
makedev?devfsd?
