Those MTAs (ie, the paradise ones), and one other site, have been giving
fairly regular "connection refused" or "connection timed out" errors
throughout the week, although the messages do eventually get through.
So it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that some people are seeing
delayed messages. (Everything's been delivered as of 2005/05/05 17:15.)

If you're concerned whether a message you sent in has been received by
the mailing list server or not, the best way to check is to look in the
mailing list archives -- if it's there, you should get your copy of the
message eventually.

The (subject lines of) posts in nz.comp would tend to suggest that there
is some more widespread Paradise/mail issue.
