[wellylug] USB

Hi all
I have a strange thing here...
2 machines, same distribution (mdk 10).
One has a USB keyboard with 2 extras USB plugs.

On machine 1 :
My USB key is detected and mounted Ok when plugged on this keyboard but
not when plugged at the back.
My Sony Dvcam is detected either on the keyboard or plugged at the back.

On machine 2 : nothing !!!

Looking in dmesg does not tell me a lot apart that it does not work,
which I was aware of :-)
Usbview reports some controllers, but no camera nor any usb key.
USB modules are loaded Ok ... scsi subsystem seems to be up but no
/dev/scsi/hostN  on machine 2.

I am lost..
