Well, that would work except I'd run out of disk space very quickly if I 
try and maintain multiple full backups of every machine. Also, the problem 
with creating a full backup every day (and therefore removing old ones too 
soon due to limited capacity) is that you are minimising your window of 
opportunity to catch the backup of a corrupted (or deleted) file and 
therefore reducing your chances of restoring it.

If I were to purchase a terabyte of disks then this might work. 
Unfortunately I can't afford that.

At the moment I am experimenting with SaraB + dar, which seems fairly 
close to what I want to do.
