[wellylug] Video Catpure device in Linux

Not trying to hi-jack the thread or anything :) , but can someone
with a cx2388 tell me how they actually grab sound?  I can
watch TV with sound (mono only, unfortunately) but can't
seem to record sound for the life of me.  As far as I can tell
ALSAs mixers are all UP. :)  Kernel is a 2.6.11, cards in the
box are a Leadtek Winfast2000 Expert and a cheap soundblaster.

The behaviour has been consistent since kernel 2.6.4 I think,
didn't get the TV card that long ago ... oh, and if it makes a
difference - we're on cable.
