Could try itthrough a proxy - anonymizer.com or something like that.

When I browse directd to http://conf.linux.org.au/ I see the 2006 info.
I don't even see ties to 2005...

Try clearing your browser cache as well.

In case your DNS is borked. By the looks you can try 
http://lca2006.linux.org.au as an alternate URL - come to think of it I 
think Simon Lyall plugged that URL earlier in the year on NZLUG...
