[wellylug] Linux Conf 2006

hi all,

I will be attending Linux Conf 2006. (http://linux.conf.au/)

I'll be booking soon (for the conf, for transport, and for
accommodation). Booking before 18th of November gives you a good sized
discount.

Who else is going? If you are interested, we could go down as a group.
Cuts down costs, and makes travelling more fun. Hire a van and take the
ferry down perhaps? We may also be able to get a discount on
accommodation, depending on the group size. I'm afraid I can't drive the
van though - Only a learner's licence. :-(

I know that some people interested in the conf are unsure yet, due to
work commitments or uncertainties, etc, but the sooner the better, as
apparently there is some competition on the week after the conf, so
accommodation and transport might be a bit hard to get.
