That's pretty high. most of the boxes I have built are running around
the 40 degree mark.  I would suggest a bios upgrade for starters.

I turn the CPU fan upside down (to  suck instead of blow), and then use
ducting to connect it to the case fan.  This means that the hot air
coming off the heatsink is exhausted out of the case rather than being
recirculated.
