not sure about samba with DHCP,
but you could quite easily change the router to a static IP address.
You can also have your network a mix of static and dynamic. Your router
has an option to let you set when the DHCP ip addressing begins. Eg:
192.168.0.25. Therefore, IPs .0 - .24 will be free for static hosts to
use.
This is what I do. It allows DHCP for anyone with wifi, but static IP's
for all my wired machines.
