I agree but I am happy to go along with 'policy' once it's made clear -
it might help to reiterate the reasons/concerns why 'advertising' is
discouraged to assist in making such decisions. For example Roger wasn't
advertising his own product and AFAIK has no financial interest in the
product so it was really just a product recommendation rather than a
product advertisement. I'd hate to see genuine recommendations censored or
prohibited.
So I think it would be useful to explicitly define what constitutes an
inappropriate message (if it hasn't already been defined somewhere?). I
like axioms.
