[wellylug] GNOME Squid Proxy probs ..

Hi,
 I've got proxies from http://www.squid-cache.org/ working with Firefox & T*bird,
 but entering the same values in the Gnome Desktop->Preferences->Network Proxy 
 either as manual or automatic proxy does not work.

For example 'qmail.acnova.com' & 'qmail.unet.net.ph' work with the Firefox &
T*bird SwitchProxy extension, but do not work when entered in the Gnome
Proxy config setup manually or in automatic mode as 'www1.nz.squid-cache.org',
or in advanced config mode as 'www*.*.squid-cache.org'.

What am I missing here ?
