hi all,
for those of you who are CentOS users:
I have made some changes to the initscripts package that adds support
for mounting encrypted filesystems (dm-crypt) at boot time. (but not the
root filesystem)
I've submitted it to CentOS, so it might get added to the centosplus
repo, but I currently have both source, and i386 rpms available from my
website:
http://www.jethrocarr.com/index.php?page=projects/distropackages/distropackages.php
Install it, and read /etc/sysconfig/enc-fstab. Apart from adding the
encrypted filesystem features, the new bootscripts doesn't change
anything else.
Also, does anyone know if Fedora core 5 supports encrypted filesystems
at boot time? I will see if I can modify the patch to work with fedora,
and send it upstream otherwise.
cheers,
