All are install CDs, didn't have a copy of Knoppix at home. Will take it
home tonight.
With the Mandrake 10, Fedora and Suse 10 I tried the various boot options to
no effect.
Gave up at that point. I know the disks are good as they have loaded on
other boxes in the past, 
Most recently I put Suse on a Toshiba laptop (and it works very well
considering the processor (C400) and memory (256) constraints.)
