Gnome-ppp was tried in a recent version of Puppy Linux and most dial-up
users experienced the same problem. I also found that having Stupid Mode =
On helped, but using Gkdial instead (which doesn't require wvdial) seemed
the best solution. PAP mode in Gkdial works with Paradise.
