[wellylug] Apache (and other) log files to database

I have a need to write Apache (and maybe other) logfiles to a database.

I'm writing something in Perl, but it strikes me that there is probably 
a program out there that does this already. I've made a search however 
and not found one. The log processing programs that I've looked at, like 
'analog' uniformly read a log file, summarize it and present the 
results, but they don't store the log file data in a DB. Unless I "can't 
see for looking" there is nothing that I've found that will write log 
files to a database.

Any ideas?
