[wellylug] users logged in do not much current logged in users...

Ok, so a w shows this:

 12:20:11 up 36 days, 15:15,  5 users,  load average: 0.34, 0.20, 0.18
USER     TTY      FROM              LOGIN@   IDLE   JCPU   PCPU WHAT
chris    pts/435  ******* 12:11    7:05m  0.05s  0.05s -bash
chris    pts/437  *******:S.0      12:12    0.00s  0.06s  0.02s w

A who shows this:
chris    pts/435      2006-02-03 12:11 (*******.********.***.**)
chris    pts/437      2006-02-03 12:12 (*******:S.0)


Top says I have 5 users logged in.....

And the Tasks are as follows:

Tasks:  97 total,   1 running,  96 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie

Nagios check of users on that box says:

OK 02-03-2006 12:18:37 10d 3h 51m 51s 1/3 USERS OK - 2 users currently
logged in 

chkrootkit shows this:

chkrootkit -q
eth0: PACKET SNIFFER(/usr/sbin/dhcpd3[26332])
eth1: PACKET SNIFFER(/usr/sbin/dhcpd3[26332])

I have rotated /var/log/wtmp

there are no zombie processes, bash is only running for the two users
who are logged in.

I cant think of anything that might be causing this....

Just thought I might bring it to you the all knowing list :)
