thanks for the offer Tony, but the problem is actually that there is no
one actually in charge of the group.
Now if people send me an email asking me to run it, sure I'd be happy to
do so.
But I'd would have thought that the members would want to chose the
system they want to run the lug.
However, if I get a lot of people disagreeing over this idea, I will
step in and take charge of keeping the lug maintained. Basically stuff
like making sure the venue is available, getting teams together for
events like software freedom day, and to have someone that people can
contact for an official response/policy.

it's not about changing the lug, just who's in charge. This may not seem
important, but in certain events would be necessary.
