The IRQ's on PCI devices are usually mapped to a series of well, 
channels is the best word I can think of.

If you have a look in the manual they'll normally have like A, B, C, D 
and corresponding IRQ addresses that are normally mapped to them. Each 
PCI slot and any onboard pci devices will be on a channel, that channel 
sharing whichever irq it's assigned.
In most cases the AGP it's closest PCI slot will share an IRQ. PCI Slot 
1 & 5 Often share an IRQ aswell. 

You can quite often see some of it in Bios aswell. In the section on 
interrupts if you change it from Auto to Manual it will allow you to 
change or reserve interrupts (for legacy isa devices), but you can't 
change it on an individual card basis.

Your best bet would be to have a look in the manual if you have one, or 
move the card to another slot, then jump into bios and see what it's 
shared with now. If you don't have very many PCI slots in use you should 
be able to find one that's not sharing with the sound without too much 
of an issue.
