[wellylug] Linux web mapping/NZ geodata

Gidday all.... 

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year & happy Linuxing to y'all....

During the last 3 months at sea, in what spare time I had, I had a play with an
Open Source mapserver & the LINZ topo & imagery data.

If you are interested you can see the result, a pretty simple application, at:

http://303.97.160.202/map_nz/map0.html

The NZ map is probably most of interest, the world map shows some VMAP0 data.
The vector data is all stored in Postgres/Postgis, databases totalling several
Gb, but pretty responsive.

I'm looking to improve my bandwidth... so apologies for any such issues right
now.
