All I can say is that my DSL-504 hasn't missed a beat in all the time 
I've had. It is easily configured, stable and value for money, so far as 
I am concerned.

As opposed to a USR modem that I had to test at one time. That would go 
down two to three times a day. So frustrating!! So I would never by a 
USR ADSL modem, though I loved the USR analog modems and I had one for 
several years.
