Yes I've found the new package manager in 10.1 to be broken to the  
point of useless.
Hopefully it gets fixed asap, Yast wasn't great but this new mono/zen  
combination makes even that look good.

I've got around the problem by installing a much better package  
manager and ignoring/disabling zen:
