Yes - sounds very Outlookish. "Combine & Decode" is also an Outlook 
expression.

One thing I have encountered in the past is that Netscape Communicator 
would not automatically download the complete email if it was larger than 
a certain size. It would only get the rest of the email once I opened that 
particular email. I was able to specify the email-size at which this would 
happen.

But *why* send 12 megs through email?

Wouldn't it be easier all round to put it up on an HTTP or FTP server and 
give you the URL? Or to simply hand or post the stuff to you on a CD?

That said, I know somebody who tried to send a 500meg file as an email 
attachment. It caused Sendmail to crash. :o)
