But you replied to an existing message.  Your mail client sticks
headers in the mail that you send (that you won't normally see) as a
signal to other more enlightened mail clients that your message is a
reply -- and those more enlightened mail clients make use of this
information to group threads (conversations) together.

And marking it OT may have been a sign that it might be offtopic for
the wellylug list, and there shouldn't be posted there.  Let's face it
-- there's not much relation between The Simpsons and Linux.

Is it a format that works only if you violate an MS license agreement to
install their copyrighted codec software on your Linux box?
