[wellylug] Installing Linux

Limewire does work... you can download it from the limewire site. Get the
RPM version (hopefully it will be ok with most distrubtions) as it's an
executable file.

What other software would you recommend in terms of DVD writing software,
things like Limewire as I am not sure if it would work on Linux (cant you
tell I am new by the dumb questions)

Ok I am new to Linux, never used it and basically just want to be a user if
that makes sense. I am sick of windows but I know I will need to use it from

Xandros (HYPERLINK "http://www.xandros.com"www.xandros.com) is a very user
freindly installation based on Debian. Depending on the content it may be
free or charged for.

Codeweavers Crossover is available (again in some versions) that*may*
support your cashbook program .

The free downloadable version is available here HYPERLINK

.xandros.com/products/home/desktopoc/dsk_oc_intro.html it has a 30 day trial
version of crossover .
