Quotefix is quite nice (just tried it). Now if only Outlook 2000 didn't 
automatically change the reply format to match the received format I could 
actually reply to work-related emails cheerfully...

(Yes, you can manually change it to Plain Text but you have to do it 
separately for every single reply to an HTML email that you ever write. 
The "Send mail in Plain Text" feature is unhelpfully overridden by the 
senders' format. I believe Outlook 2002 fixed this problem but I have no 
control over what version I use. I 'used' Evolution for a while but wow, 
that program really needs to evolve itself out of the bug soup!).
