Because you are GPG signing your messages, and your options cause the
result to be sent as an attachment :-)

And because Peter's mail client doesn't "know" about PGP I guess, and it
just showing the attachments, waiting to see if he wants to click on
them.

I'm using mutt, which is rendering as text everything it can recognise
(including images :-) - but attachments it can't handle are still just
listed, for me to decide how to handle (generally to ignore them)
