That's exactly what our teenagers say if we ask
them not to make a pig-sty out of our lounge.

I personally find a piggy mess in the lounge to be
spoiling the atmosphere, specially if we intend to 
have people who aren't pigs visiting.  It comes down
to (from my perspective) ego-centric and selfish
attitude that refuses to adhere to common courtesy
for the benefit of the community.
