Have you heard of wlug_trade? It's been around for a while. It was set up to
avoid this sort of discourse, and keep advertising off this list. If I remember
correctly, it was voted for and accepted by a very large majority when Tony
offered to host it.
Of course, those who want to advertise here obviously don't really care about
owner's rights or the opinions of others, or the majority of "members".

Unfortunately, what will happen is the list owner decide he can't be bothered,
and we'll need a new list provider. It won't be a few naughty idiots getting
banned, it will be a few selfish, arrogant idiots costing the rest of us a
reliable list server.
Hey Jeremy,
Perhaps you could carry out Ed's expressed wish, recorded for posterity in the
list archives, that he be removed from this list? Of course he could just do it
himself, but like subscribing to wlug_trade, unsubscribing to this list is
evidently too difficult to do for himself.
