Just be glad you didn't upgrade during the X.org transition - *that* was

I find the main US archive most reliable for non-stable releases. Of
course having apt-proxy installed on one of my machines eases the
bandwidth for me. I suspect the mirrors have sync issues when the
repository is churning (as development versions tend to).

Funny, I've been running the K7 kernel for yonks now. In fact just
updated again last night with no problem.
