Hi David
I know that on Friday, Xtra did make some DNS / network changes
inregards to changing the ip address of their SMTP server. It broke
outbound email for a number of people that I know.
Regards
Michael

Subject: [wellylug] Weird DNS issue with Xtra DNS
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone else using the Paradise/iHug DNS servers had
experienced an issue resolving Xtra based dns addresses (like
xtra.co.nz)?
For the last couple of days I haven't been able to resolve these
addresses and I only managed to fix the problem by adding the Clear.net
DNS servers to my resolv.conf file.
For reference here's my resolv.conf:
# Paradise DNS
nameserver 203.96.152.4
nameserver 203.96.152.12
# iHug DNS
nameserver 203.109.252.42
nameserver 203.109.252.43
# Clear.net DNS
nameserver 203.97.33.14
nameserver 203.97.37.14
Is it just my system or is Xtra's DNS having trouble communicating with
the others?
David
