I have bought a number of second hand HP4s and 5s from RemarkIT on Jervois
Quay.
Real cheap (around $20 +GST each in quantity). If you want a basic
monochrome laser these are pretty hard to beat.
Not a lot of frills, but postscript is available on them. Many of them
include network cards.
Definitely will work with Linux.
Aftermarket tomer cartridges readily available.
Interestingly, some of the new printer cartridges are chipped so they can't
be refilled.
